Yep that's me.
Honestly, nothing too exciting is happening today, except that I have rehearsal for the show Night of the Living Dead tonight. I decided that my zombie's name is Lola, and she is a vegetarian, so she only eats the flowers on the graves, instead of actually eating the people. Yeah.
My grandmother is here, and she's going to travel with us for a while, like I mentioned earlier. It's sort of hard to explain *how* we're traveling, but we're going to be going from one place to another, rarely staying in one place for more than a day. I'm really excited, we're going to have a BLAST.
Yesterday I got to do one of the best things in the world: go shopping. But not for clothes or shoes or anything like that, we went shopping for books at this place that sells used books for really cheap. I swear I could live there. I love it there. I got about five great books, including one by Meg Cabot, which I read half of last night. It's really funny so far, but I'll have to wait 'till I finish it to really say how it was.
I also read the book Walk Two Moons a couple days ago, and I loved it. It's about a twelve year old girl named Salamanca, whose mother left her and her father about two years ago. Salamanca moved with her father to another town, but the actual story takes place along the car ride to visit Salamanca's mother, but around half of the story is Sal telling her grandparents about her best friend from Bybanks, where she lives. It's funny, but also sad and suspenseful. In all, it was a GREAT book.
I also thought I'd share some of my favorite quotes with you. One of them being from my little brother, a few weeks ago. He was going through his money with mom (he's five) and she pulled out a twenty dollar bill and asked him, "Where did you get this?" He promptly answered. "I sued Star." Nice.
Other favorite quotes:
"Speak softly and carry a big stick."
"Courage is fear, holding on a minute longer."
"We're all improvising, some of us just know the changes better than others."
"When I see someone beautiful, I smile, I stare, and when I get tired, I put the mirror down."
"I'm perpetually confused, this doesn't make a difference."
"I know that you believe what you think I said, but I'm not sure if you realize what I said isn't really what I meant."
"Heroes never have a plan; only an objective."
Those are a few, and there are tons more. I can post them if you want. The other day I realized that Barak Obama and Bob the Builder have the same slogan: Yes We Can!!! That made me laugh...
