My Polyvore Sets

I know that I've been gone for an uncharacteristically long time, but I have reasons.

First of all, my friend from VA to visit me. She and her dad drove down for about a week, and I had SO much fun. She's six days older than me, and my dad is six days older than her dad, so we've got a lot in common ;). So we went to the zoo and the mall and to my dad's camp. I hadn't seen them in a while, so it was nice to see them again.

Right now my dad is running a three week camp, and that's been a blast as well. Basically, a bunch of bass players come to the camp ground and learn about their instruments and some nature stuff. It's pretty cool, even though I don't play the bass.

Right now I'm at the eye doctor (I have REALLY bad floaters) and waiting for my appointment. Later today my tutor and Kenzy are coming over to do some school. I'm really really really really really really really excited for that, because we're making a thingy thing. 'Thingy thing' in this case, means a project where the dominoes nock over a marble which hits the switch which starts the water which ways down the bucket and so on. I can't wait.

I just read the book My Sister's Keeper and (**SPOILERS**) I LOVED IT. The twist at the end was incredible.

(the spoilers over) (OHMIGOSH the nursey lady came in and put these drops in my eyes that made them numb and big. it's cool. ((okay i lied, it's the next day now, and my right eye is still sort of numb...))

I KNEW I WAS FORGETTING SOMETHING! I've been watching this tv show called The Choir and it's SO good. It's about this man named Gareth Malone, and his passion is directing the choir. he's amazing.

We've been watching more TV over the weekend because Mom went to go visit her family.
Something to say before I start: Pictures will come later.

Okay. Hi world. It's Kai (Well, duh, no one else usually posts on my blog.... right?!) Yesterday I had SO. MUCH. FUN. First we had to go to an extra rehearsal (we open this weekend and we'll have had six days on the stage, and less with costumes and set and light. Not. Good. Not many people know their lines, and no one really knows the choreography.

That wasn't that fun. But then my neighbor took me to the mall, and we went shopping. That's a rare occurrence in my life. Shopping. For fun. Never happens. But it was SOOO much fun. We went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch first, and I FINALLY found a name for the song that I really really like. Then we went to a bunch of other stores, and my friend got a really pretty watch and a bracelet for me. It's absolutely breathtaking and I sort of can't believe it's mine. We walked around the mall for a bit more and then we went into Betsey Johnson.

That's where things got funny. we were looking around and there was this one dress that was absolutely GORGEOUS. It was pink tinsel with no sleeves, and a white lace overlay. It had a sash that looked like it tied in the back, but it really zippered up the side. It was so pretty. And so I went and tried it on for fun and as soon as I came out the lady who worked there started yelling. She went all 'OHMYGOSH THAT DRESS IS SO CUTE ON YOU' and I think my face might have turned beet red. Then she ran back into the shoppe and grabbed a pair of heels that were about seven sizes too small (**wink wink**)  and launched into a conversation about how my hair was straightened (and it is) and how I should use this new straightener thing.

My new obsession is Agatha Christie. We've been watching some of her Poirot and I'm also going to read some of her others pretty soon. I'm borrowing them from my neighbors. I can't WAIT!

Not sure if I've said this, but I think this winter I'm going to be in a show called The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. It's a GREAT show. I'm going to be Beth Bradley, but I've done it before as Alice Wendleken and that is one of my favorite roles I've ever played.
