My Polyvore Sets

Something I've noticed: Virtually no one comments on my blog posts anymore. What's up with that??? Am I no longer at your 'status' or something?? Am I not worth the time? Am I not GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU????

Okay, just kidding, done with my rant. I haven't posted in a while, because life has been super crazy. Yesterday I went to a pool party that was SUPER fun, but a friend of mine kept trying to push me under water, even though he knew I was stronger than him. He finally succeeded when I couldn't stand and he could. She shoved me underwater before I realized that I had let my guard down and swam to where I couldn't touch the bottom (I'm just that short). Then the other day we went to a water park, because one of our friends was just made a citizen. It was super fun, even though this teenager dude guy was with his girlfriend in the water, and she kept trying to talk to him, but he kept looking at me.... that was really awkward, but everything else was cool. There was this thing though, where you could float or swim, and they said that you weren't allowed to go under water. Yeah. There was also this huge cone ride where you up and down, and it was pretty scary, but super fun.

Right  now Kenzy Hargen something is at my house and she's spending the night. FUN!!!! My mom waited on line and got the new iphone and we got to go around the mall and stuff. It was fun. We're listening to the new Phantom of the Opera and deciding that Gustave is SUPER hot... yeah, that's my life...

Oh yeah, the other day we went to the theater and this lady slammed her head in the door and then her face was gushing blood and stuff and it was freaking scary. Yeah. ...

not very much to talk about right now.... The same old, same old. Except for the fact that it's SO INCREDIBLY HOT HERE. It's crazy. I didn't know that it was possible to be this hot when you weren't in an oven. Also, a friend of mine from OH is coming to visit me soon, and I CAN'T wait. My sister's birthday is coming up soon, and we're discussing that right now. My parents are getting the new iphone 4, and that sounds like it's going to be SUPER cool. We've been having rehearsals, and that's going... well, it's going. We're opening relatively soon. There's this music thingy called NAAM, and it's super fun. You can look it up, but basically it's where a bunch of music people get together and show each other stuff that they say. We traveled  to the one in TN earlier this week, and it was pretty cool. I didn't get cast for To Kill A Mockingbird, but it's not too huge of a deal. I think I'm going to do Best Christmas Pageant Ever again this winter as Beth (I've done it before as Alice, and it was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!)

Lot's'a stuff...

Heeeeeeeey. Yeah. It's me. So, I've had a GREAT couple of days. First, on Saturday, I was REALLY ticked because we had an all day rehearsal and I was supposed to hang out with my old nanny because she's leaving today to move across (what seems like) the world. But, during rehearsal, I got to sing for Gertrude, which was the role I REALLY wanted, because the girl who plays Gertrude wasn't there (she had gone to Disney World and so she's missing a ton of rehearsals.) But it was soooooo much fun, because at first I just jumped in and sang because no one else was. By the end of the show a bunch of people were singing for a bunch of different roles, but I was the only one on Gertrude. When we ran the show through again, the director asked for volunteers to sing for all the other roles except for Gertrude, which she just gave to me. Then, when everything was over, everyone clapped for me!!! (sorry, not trying to be snobby, just so incredibly excited because I wanted the role soooooo badly and I never even got to audition for it.)

Then we went home to hang out with my nanny and her husband and we had a GREAT time. We tried to watch our dance recital, but it didn't work because the camera was messing up. Then we had some chili, but we didn't really finish it because it was REALLY spicy. Other than that it was good though. We had some ice cream with chocolate syrup on it, and then we did nails. It was really cool, because our nanny's REALLY good at painting them, so on my thumb, she did polka dots, and then on the other thumb she switched the colors around and did polka dots again. She did that for all of my fingers. It was SO cool! They're sort of coming off now though. On Star's she did brown with white polka dots, and then I painted her thumbs with rainbows and her other nails black with pink polka dots. Basically, there were tons of polka dots going on in my house.

Then, the next day, even though it started out with math, was SO SO SO fun too. We went to see the show Oklahoma, and we know almost five fifths of the cast because that's where we usually do shows. We got there and we saw one person in the show who wasn't in costume yet, and she ran back and got some OTHER people who weren't in costume yet and brought them out to see me. When we went to sit down to see the show we realized that we were sitting next to friends of ours. The show was GREAT but I think my favorite part was seeing all of my friends at the end. It really made me regret ever doing Seussical and not doing Oklahoma. But, most likely the funniest part of that was when I went to go and give my friend a hug, and a little girl that I didn't even knew knew who I was pretty much APPEARED in between us and started hugging me. It was as soon as he touched me I felt these tiny little arms throw themselves around my waist. I felt soooo bad, but it was HILARIOUS. Then my friend went kinda red and started walking away, which forced me to chase him down and apologize...

Today we have piano, which I haven't really had the time to practice for very much, so I really suck at the song. (Sorry Ms. K!) We're supposed to meet my nanny again to say goodbye this morning, but it might not happen **Starts to cry**

MOOD: don't really know yet....

Ok, so, :(. When I got to the WORLD HEADQUARTERS OF DOLLAR GENERAL I discovered that the shoot they had hired me for was a clothing shoot (Dollar General sells clothing?) for little kids. So they didn't have anything small enough to fit me. I wouldn't have minded as much, I could have worn my own clothes, but that would have offended reason. So I went back home to my first piano class of the summer.

It was really weird though, cause the headquarters was nicer than most hotels I've stayed at. It had two really cool statues, and a bear on the roof. (apparently the dude who founded Dollar General liked bears).

(This post was mostly written yesterday...)

Okay. So. I have a TON to talk about. First of all, Mom woke me up today by telling me I got a job. Most kids would be all *groan* a job... I'm like
 *Scream* YAAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
Why? Because my job is as a model. On Monday I'm going to model for Dollar General (I know, right? So not what you were thinking about
when I brought up 'modeling', but it does pay well). So yeah, that was exciting.

Seussical is going... well, it's going. Let's leave it at that.

Today was our dance recital, and I was in seven dances. It was SO. MUCH. FUN. I got to help out with the little girls (they were about three to five years old) and they were SO FLIPPIN ADORABLE. One of them had these oober long eyelashes, and she was absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
I got to dress up like a caterpillar, and the costume was so funny I loved it. I also got to run down the isles for tap, and that was as blast. Yesterday was the dress rehearsal, and when we got onstage (The curtain was closed) for our modern dance, we realized that it was the wrong music and had to run offstage again before the curtain opened. It was a total movie moment. During the recital, one of the dancers got sick and the grownups didn't really want her to finish the show cause they were afraid that she might get too sick. Of course, her being a very determined person, she not only finished it, but was amazing. For one of the dances, we got to wear these black sparkly hats. They literally shed glitter. This morning, I woke up and found glitter from the night before. All the dancers, even the ones who weren't in the dance, ended up covered in sparkles.

So after the dance recital, seven of us went out to Cheesecake Factory and had dinner at ten'o'clock. It was SUPER FUN. (Kenzy came too). We got there, and we were so crazy and dance-drunk that we did some... interesting things... Like, when we first got there, we were being so loud I thought that they were going to kick us out. Then, four of us decided to go check out the bathrooms cause it seemed like they would be really nice. So, we stood up, and totally over-strutted into the restaurant (we were sitting outside). Then, we were strutting through the place, when one of the waiter dudes came up with us and started TOTALLY STRUTTING. In short? BEST WAITER DUDE EVER!!!! He was awesome. Then before we walked outside, we were dancing to the music that they were playing, and a security guard came over. We started running to the bathroom. It was sooooo funny.

My new favorite song is Poker Face, but the GLEE cast version. It rocks. I just saw a video of this girl that my parents know singing, and she was absolutely amazing. It sort of rewrote how I thought of myself.

I just auditioned for To Kill A Mockingbird, and it would be really awesome if I got it, because it's a great paid job, but it would also possibly ruin my chances of going to South America. :(

I'm reading Lies right now, which is the third book in the Gone series, which you really should read. I'm also reading the latest 39 Clues book. (I know.. I know...)

We went out to Kentucky a few days ago for a concert. I took a picture of this link chain fence, and it almost turned out cool...ly.... (cooly? Cool like? I don't know.)

(now it's the next day and I'm writing again)

Today we went to camp and I got to take apart a flooded piano. I got to keep The Middle C key. If you look at them (you can only see it once it's been taken apart) you'll see that they're numbered. Mine is number 42.

Daddy let me drive the car, but...as I'm still twelve, it's sort of illegal...

STATUS REPORT: Wishing that I could fly... and wanting to sleep.

Hi, I'm back. So yeah, last time I wrote, I was in Kentucky. After a long drive, I'm back home. It was fun, because we went to a concert where my little brother got to play drums on stage. It was  a BLAST.

I figured out that I get Doctor Who on my tv, which makes my life a lot better than when I had to watch Doctor Who on my tiny computer screen :). Speaking of watching, last night, we (Mom, Dad, my brother, and I) watched the Sixth Sense. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD. It was crazy because **spoilers** you have NO idea that Malcolm is dead until, well, they tell you he's dead.

But, if you watch really closely, you realize that even when Malcolm was sitting with Cole's mom, she never acknowledged him. When Malcolm sat down at the table at the Italian restaurant, the table was set for one, and the only thing his wife said to him was 'happy anniversary', and it turns out she didn't know he could hear her. When Cole meets him, he tells him 'Wow! You're nice!'. When Cole told him his secret, he told him 'They don't know they're dead. They only see  what they want to see.' And when Malcolm leaves Cole, he tells him: 'I won't see you again, will I?" He knew that he was done with Earth, or whatever. He never showed his back; he kept his coat on the whole time.

It was awesome too, because if you really watch, you realize that everything important (and some not important things) are red. The door to the church that Cole runs to is red. Cole's favorite sweater is red. All the female ghosts (except for Kyra Collins) hair is red. Cole's mom's hair is red. The door to Malcolm's wine cellar is red. Cole's blanket to his fort is red. The woman who murdered Kyra's (and was trying to murder her sister) suit was red. The flowers were red. IT WAS ALL RED!!!!!

But yeah, I loved that movie.

**SPOILER IS OVER** Another movie that I think is absolutely amazing is called the Others. Tonight I'm actually going to spend the night at Kenzy Hargen-something's house and we're gonna watch it. **spoilers again** I can't wait to see it again, because the whole thing is that it's about a familly who lives in this 'haunted' house. But then they realize that they're the ones haunting it. I LOVE that movie. **SPOILER IS OVER**

Another show I've started to like: Victorious. It's about a girl in Los Angeles that is going to a creative arts school for acting. She's an amazing singer and actress, and it's just a *fun* show.

This Friday I have a dance recital at a school in the town near where I live. I'm SO excited. I'm in rehearsal right now actually, on break. I'm in seven dances this year. Yeah. It's tiring, but it's SO much fun.

Tomorrow I have an audition for To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm trying out for Scout, but it's very unlikely that I get the part. It's a professional show, so I'm sure that there'll be way more other girls that are better than me. I had to memorize a monologue, and... well, here I'll type it (without looking mind; i have it memorized)

Catching Walter Cunningham in the schoolyard gave me some pleasure, but when I was rubbing his nose in the dirt, Jem came by and told me to stop. 'You're bigger'n he is!' Jem told me. I said 'He's as old as you, nearly. He made me start off on the wrong foot.' and Jem said 'Let 'im go Scout, why?' So I told him. 'He didn't have any lunch. He said he forgot it and Ms. Caroline tried to make him take a quarter to buy lunch downtown, sayin' he could pay her back tomorrow. So I told her 'Ms. Caroline, he's a Cunningham.' But she didn't understand that Walter was sitting there, lying his head off. Walter didn't forget his lunch, he didn't have any. So I tried again and told her that Walter's a Cunningham and the Cunninghams never took anything that they can't pay back. They never took anything off of anybody, they get along on what they have. I said 'You're shamin' him Ms. Caroline Walter hasn't got a quarter at home to bring you.' Then she grabbed me by the collar and said 'Jean Louise, I've had about enough of you this morning. You're starting off on the wrong foot in every way my dear.' And then, she told me to go stand in a corner!"

Okay, so maybe I looked a few times..... But yea, that's it.
