My Polyvore Sets

Today in my tiny little home town, I saw a full fledged taxi cab. Wow. I mean, BIG wow. You hardly ever even see a taxi cab in the big towns here, let alone the small ones. Wow.

Today my mother told me something wonderful: We have a British neighbour. She's lived here for fifty years and I just never knew. Wow.

I don't think I have any more wows for today, but I thought you might enjoy those two. Goodnight.

Okay, so the newest source of excitement would be my birthday. I know I'm sort of getting ahead of myself, my birthday isn't until the end of October, but still, I'm excited. On the 27th of next month, I will officially be a teenager (turning thirteen, yeah). For my birthday (like I normally do) I'm having a Halloween-themed party. But this year I'm pretty sure we're going to have a haunted hide and seek game where you hide and monsters have to come and find you. Then we're going to have a haunted hay ride, and possibly a dance-like-thingy. So I'm physiqued.  Can't wait.

And then there's Halloween itself. Love it. Favorite holiday. Right up there with Christmas. I'm going to go as an Ipod this year, so that should be really fun.

This weekend I got to hang out with a bunch of friends, and I had an unbelievable amount of fun :). Kenzy brought a couple of her friends (one that I had met before and one that I had sort of met) and I had some friends over too. We played some super intense rounds of hide and seek, and it was crazy cool.

I also realized that when I grow up I want to work at Disney World. I want to be Wendy Darling (But I guess I could be Alice in Wonderland or Belle from Beauty and the Beast)

Hellooooo everyone :). I know last time I posed I put up a list of books. Well, that list has already changed dramatically. I finished a bunch of the books and found others that I wanted to read. I'm not going to make another full list right now, because that would result in my shoving a whole lot of time into a list that is again subject to change.

The other day, my dad was cleaning out the garage, and he found something SUPER awesome. He found....................... (wait for it).................... A BUBBLE BLOWER!!!! Not one of those cheap little blow guns that break, but a real industrial 'you-see-these-at-concerts' bubble blower. It's now sitting on our kitchen counter, taking up space. I LOVE it. Last night we turned it on and just played in the bubbles for a while.

Today we went grocery shopping, but we were bored, so my four siblings and I resulted to dancing in the isles and singing songs. Yeah. We're just that great :P Then while we were there, we were shopping next to this cute little couple (about in their twenties) and not really paying attention. I didn't realize that the dude half of the couple was standing behind me (I mean RIGHT behind me) and so I flung my head around and got ready to speed off to another section of the store, but I rammed head first into the guy. Oops. It would have been okay if I hadn't gotten my face tangled in my hair and then gasped really loudly. Then of course he pretty much ran away from me, and I had to walk away because I was laughing to hard. Why? Because his girlfriend was staring  at us with a surprised expression on her face. Yeah.

Okay I told myself I wasn't going to do this, but I have to tell you about this book. It's called Found, and it's the first of a series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I read it in one night, and it was phenomenal. I LOVED it. I haven't read the second once yet, because it wasn't at the library this afternoon, but I plan on getting it soon.

Hello all. Right now, I'm about dead bored, so I figured I'd make a list of books that I'm reading or that I just read. Here's the key: if it has a * thingy behind it, that means I've read about two sentences of the book or I'm just about to start it. If there's a " by it, that means I just finished it. If there's nothing behind it, then I'm in the midst of reading it. These are the books that I've read recently (as in the past month or so)

Eyes Like Stars
" The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud
" Catching Fire
" Mockingjay
" The Truth About Forever
*Smoke and Mirrors
" The Red Pyramid
Peter and the Sword of Mercy
Romeo and Juliet
" Julius Caesar
*Brave New World
" Meet the Austins
" Maniac Magee
* The ABC Murders
*Sovay
*The Mysterious Benedict Society
Little Women
" Benjamin Button
Pride and Prejudice

Yeah. That's my list.

My nine year old brother, who's going to be The Doctor from Doctor Who for Halloween this year got his sonic screwdriver. If you don't know what a sonic screwdriver is, well, you really need to look it up, because it's pretty flippin awesome.

Turns out that we're going on the road for two weeks with my dad. I don't know exactly where we're going, but I know we're going to go to a bunch of different states all over the country. i'm really excited, because we haven't gotten to travel like that for a while.

Right now, my nails are bright green. Bright. Green. Life's mission accomplished.

I realize that nothing very interesting has happened to me lately, so I'll tell you something funny that I did a few weeks ago. I was in an elevator somewhere and  I had promised my brother that the next time I rode in an elevator I would do something spectacular. So when a dude walked onto the elevator that we were on, I made my move. I shook my bag a little bit (it was a big bag) and I stuck my head in it and whispered as loudly as I could 'Got enough air in there? How's the ride?' and then patted the bag and pulled my head out and just stared straight ahead as if nothing had happened. What was going through this man's mind? I honestly have no idea. :P

Today was my dad's birthday :)  and my first day of dance this season. Last night we watched the movie Night of the Living Dead, (the show I'm going to do this fall) and it was sort of good...

For my dad's birthday we got to go to this really nice restaurant called Maggianos (if you've never been there, it's a really cool Italian place) and we went to see a movie. What movie did we see? Inception.

Oh. My. Baholy. Wow. Wow wow wow wow wow.

Yeah. It was incredible. Unbelievable. Just amazing. Beyond words. Wow. If you haven't seen it, then don't worry, because I'm not going to give anything away, but if you have seen it, you know what I'm talking about.

Seeing as it's 11:15 at night where I am, there's no use in me trying to form coherent thoughts, let alone write them down, so I'll go now. Bye.

Hello everybody. So much to say. I'm going to start with what I did a couple days ago.

I woke up and my mom told me that we were going to drive to North Carolina the next day. Cool. We went to this place called Turtle Island Preserve. It has NO running water and NO electricity. I had to spend a week there a few years ago, and it was really cool. There were some things that I didn't particularly enjoy (like bathing in the creek, which only got debris in my hair, and then when I tried to comb it it actually broke the pick), but it really was amazing. So anyway, we got to go back and visit. We did a few really... different... things. For one, we had to walk up a mountain in the dark and walk down in THE PITCH BLACK. It was crazy. We also got to ride horses and buggies. We made jam, and knives and stuff like that. It was really really cool.

Okay, so I'm on steroids for my eyes right now (retinal problems, yeah...) and the other day the tub was leaking. What does this have to do with steroids? I'm getting to it. It was driving me crazy, but even after tightening the porcelain knob on the tub it wouldn't stop. I didn't realize how hard I was twisting it until it shattered in my hands. My mother now teases me saying that it's because I'm on steroids and I know have super strength....

It's possible that we go traveling a lot this fall/autumn/winter/time of year.

Also, I got a part in a show called Night Of The Living Dead. I'm a zombie. SCORE!!!! I had to read for the 'girl-in-love' part, which was awkward, because I was reading opposite a relatively older teenager... yeah... we avoided most of the awkward parts though. Regardless, I'm happy with how things turned out.  I might not do the show because of school, but we'll see.
